Colombia is a beautiful country that has a lot of history and culture. The people there are friendly and welcoming, but they also have their own way of doing things. One thing that I love about Colombia is how much food there is to eat! You will never go hungry in this country because it seems like every corner you turn has another restaurant or shop selling something delicious. When looking for Colombian grocery stores near me, I found a list of places that had everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to meat and seafood.

La Hacienda Food Market

La Hacienda Food Market

611 Grant Street, Brooklyn. Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed holidays

La Hacienda is located in one of the few non-gentrified areas of downtown Brooklyn, so it has the feel of an old neighborhood grocery store that people who live nearby know about but don’t need to advertise for tourists (yet). It’s not as big or fancy as some other markets I’ve visited, but it offers plenty for those looking for authentic Colombian foodstuffs and other Latin American items like fresh plantains, yuca and sweet corn on the cob during warmer months; canned fish from Brazil like sardines or tuna packed in olive oil; packets of hot cocoa mix made from real chocolate pieces instead of powder; jars filled with olives marinated in garlic or peppers; and bags filled with hard-to-find spices like cumin seeds or chile powder—all at reasonable prices!

On top of the usual food items you would find at a supermarket like eggs and milk they also have their own in-house brand of soda (which is actually quite delicious), fruit juices and beers. They have everything from toilet paper to quinoa! They are one of the few grocery stores that carry all Colombian products including imported cheeses and other specialty items that cannot be found anywhere else in town. The prices are not too high either so that’s another plus for this place 🙂
