At these levels, FCR is important because it decreases total feed consumption and thus reduces the amount of time needed to grow an animal from hatchling to market weight. The improved FCR may result from enhanced nutrient digestibility, which will also help with producing eggs with high quality protein content from hens fed this diet.

For example, you can find Zoetis products in feed bags or pails; broiler feeds are available in a variety of sizes ranging from 1 to 25 pounds. Chick starter and grower feeds come in both 5-pound bags and pails. Layer/laying feeds are also available in 15- and 30-pound bags as well as 50-pound pails and 85-, 100-, 125-, 150-pound bulk tubs.
