• You need to drill a pilot hole into the frame of your tractor, at least 1/8 in diameter and deep enough so that when you screw in the bracket, it will be firmly seated against the tractor frame.
• You need a drill bit that is at least 1/8 inch (3 mm) larger than the bolt head size on one end of your Trencher Attachment For Tractor. If you have 7/16 inch bolts (11 mm), then you’ll want to use a 9/32 inch (7 mm) bit for drilling pilot holes. It’s best if you use something like an impact driver instead of just hand tightening because then there’s no risk of stripping out threads or damaging anything on either side of where you’re working with your hands or slipping off things like nuts & bolts would happen during normal usage scenarios!
