Before the soil amendment, the Andersons tested their soil for pH, nitrogen levels and organic matter. They found that it was low in organic matter but high in nitrogen. After applying the product, they tested again and found that their pH level had decreased by half a point (from 7 to 6.5) and there was an increase in phosphorus levels as well.
