The National Young Farmers Coalition (NYFC) is a nonprofit organization that works to ensure the future of agriculture. We are made up of young people running farms and ranches, agricultural professionals and interested citizens who work together to ensure the future of agriculture. The NYFC has a membership base of more than 5,000 farmers across the country and local chapters in 18 states.

NYFC is a grassroots organization that believes in empowering those who will inherit this land with the tools necessary to grow food sustainably and successfully today.

NYFC promotes youth engagement in agriculture by connecting young farmers across America; educating policy makers on the challenges facing young farmers; promoting access to capital for new family farmers; and advocating for public policies that promote young farmer success.

NYFC was founded by a group of 22-year old ranchers from Colorado in January 2016. Since its inception, NYFC has grown into one of the nation’s largest organizations working exclusively on behalf of young farmers!

The most important thing about NYFC is our members! Without them we would cease to exist so make sure you are involved in some way – whether it’s attending an event, donating money or volunteering at one of our many opportunities throughout the year!

We’re not just a bunch of farmers talking about how cool farming is—we actually do something about it! The NYFC advocates for policy change on behalf of young farmers because we believe that policies should be made by those who know best: agriculture experts themselves. We have the reach and resources to make sure your voice gets heard loud and clear in Washington DC, state government offices, and city halls across America.

We are steadfast in our belief that farmers can do amazing things if we come together as a community with a common goal.

The National Young Farmers Coalition is an organization that promotes the interests of America’s young farmers. We are a grassroots organization, which means we are member-driven and run by those who believe in our mission and want to see it succeed.

NYFC is also a national organization. We represent all 50 states, each with their own unique challenges and opportunities for young farmers. As such, NYFC works hard to reach out to these individual groups as well as create opportunities for them to work together across borders.

NYFC does not just exist online; our events help bring people together from all over the country so they can discuss their ideas face-to-face! Because NYFC was founded by young farmers who were passionate about their work and wanted others like them to have access to resources they didn’t previously have access too (like land), this type of collaboration is especially important when trying something new like starting your own farm business or becoming an agricultural professional yourself one day soon!
